I would expect enough to cover the replacements of the items lost.

That said, I know that couriers tend to have clauses for particular items. Was the parcel suitably insured?

You will get what you insured it for (up to the value of the goods) or whatever their compensation is for the service you used.

How much will it cost you to replace any original documents in there ? How much was the parcel insured for ?

Assuming it was suitably insured, however much it costs to replace whatever you have lost.

FedEx don't pay consequential loss. You will be covered for what you insured it for or by the terms of the shipping, whichever is higher.

What's this an international or domestic shipment and how long ago was it declared lost?

Hold up, I just noticed you said they lost COPIES of your documents, not the originals. You will get back your shipping cost and the insured value. Nothing more as per the terms and conditions.
  • thanks all

FedEx will only deal with the payor in terms of a claim. If Bupa are paying then FedEx will only speak to them as it is only the payor who is at a loss over this.

Identity theft can occur many different ways - its highly unlikely anyone has stolen it, more like it fell off a belt somewhere and will get shredded if not, returned.
