Help with housing benefit

My housing benefit was stopped last October and I have been fighting to get it reinstated ever since.
I have lived in this house since Feb 2012
My brother as been paying my rent
My electic is on a meter and I have never recevied a bill
and I don't know who the suppler is (sorry about spelling my spell checker won't work) which as been explained to the council.
My proof that I live here is
Statement from my post man, statement from the police (who have visted at least 2 to 3 times a week reguarding a neigbour
dispute)
Bank statements, Hospital appiontments, Doctors letters, telephone bill, friends who have visted and stayed over and a email from housing benefit stating I live here and I am receiving council tax demands.
Dispite all the corrensponce the council still maintain that they need more proof.
They state that I rang them up and said that I do not live at this address ????????????????????
We have appealed but todate STILL waiting
Can anyone else advise me on what I can do next ???

First we need to know why it was stopped in the first place. So..........

What benefits are you receiving at the moment?

When your HB stopped in October did a benefit stop or change at around about the same time?
  • Are you related to your landlord?

Do you have a partner elsewhere?
These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.
  • Do you have a tenancy agreement. Who do you pay the rent to?
  • What reasons have they given for not thinking you are not there? It can't just be a single telephone call?
These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.
  • On another of your posts you have stated your landlord has refused to give you a new tenancy agreement since last October - could this be why your HB has stopped?

This link will assist you in finding your electricity supplier:

Suggest that you also keep the receipts for puchase of top-ups so that you can prove that electricity is being used.

Becase the council claim that I have telephoned them and said I do not live there.......... why would I do that ? ? ? ?

At the moment I am on ESA but previously I was on income
surport up untill june 2013 no that was not the reason for my
    benefit being stoped

The council are now taking £15 per week out of my ESA claiming an overpayment was made from the begaining of my tenancy Feb 2012 up untill Oct 2012 when they stopped my HB
