Yup, that's how I ended up with my IT dude. He was working for a company that turned out to be run by an ocean-going loon who cut me off for non-payment when he'd already cut off my email so I never received the invoice. He couldn't see cause and effect there...what a rude IT company @Watty1! You'll probably find out that they are heading for trouble. As @KajiKita says, well worth a chat with awesome dude while you still have his details. Onwards and upwards love Humdinger xx

Glad you had fun yesterday - I have DMd you.
Food is so easy to overspend. I have started tracking non essential spends and areas where one can reduce spends eg groceries .... so far my non essential spending is over £1k this month ouch .... However it is good to be clear where its going ...
DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

That sounds horrible that they could just do that to you without any warning! Definitely time to move but I agree ask if that guy can help or he might know of someone. Hope you haven't lost too much can you reach out to where you usually get work from and explain you had an IT issue in case they did email you so they don't think you are ignoring them?
Well done to your friend sometimes it is worth it just to support people. Shame the dress isn't what you really wanted but I am with you on the weight gain it is so expensive not only in snacks and food but also clothes.Save £12k in 25 No 49

IT Chap very cautious of what he will say, only that he is staying with the company, recently married new baby on the way etc etc. He did add that things are very different now, that only he is left of the old team and he gets to work with all the old clients. I think that might be a case of he is really really good and they are paying him accordingly.
I've found a company that I like that will do a "fix it when it goes wrong" service for £65 a month and I'm going to go with them. I've decided that it is an extra option as the IT really stresses me. Despite googling I really have no idea how things like my database are set up and I think getting someone in to do the overview will be really helpful.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Final legal bill in from the company that handled both sales etc. £2529.20 inc VAT.
Relieved to have the bill in, I have the money to pay it (although it is £750 higher than I expected but I had not allowed for the extras like land registry fees).
Good to have it done before the year ends. I will be moving forwards with a clean slate on that front and rebuilding.
Feeling very dissimulated over last couple of days. I've realised all this pressure on myself to clean up diet and not drink and given up gluten is just really very stressful so am just going to go with the flow, I need to be kinder to myself. I made a list this morning and have slowly worked through that. It included writing down then crossing off simple things like order meds, find vitamin supplement in cupboard, simple self care stuff. I've mucked out the horses and am now going to settle down to work. I suspect I've been pushing myself way to hard and really I just haven't the resources to do that.
I also admitted to the piece of paper that my Charming Cob is not quite right. I did get him a physio after his surgery but I watched her work and I wasn't sure of her and she seemed to think one session was enough. I've had a nagging doubt about this, after all he was suspended upside down by his hooves for some time. I have asked around and got a referral so I'm hoping a course of physio will help him. Waiting for physio to get back to me with dates.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I have a lovely vision of charming cob doing acrobatics and back flips - hope he is ok though / my sister has loads of horses and it’s a lifetime of love, hard work, money and joy
luckily I live in central london so I have banished such thoughts.Well done on clearing up the old
yes treasure yourself and your life and treat yourself with grace compassion and love.
when others don’t treat us right we often take that onboard and start doing that to ourselves in the aftermath .. so we do then need to reset and a re grounding of who we are, how fabulous we are and worthy of being loved and treasure by others AND ourselvesDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

I used to do canine massage - some of my fellow therapists do horses too. We have a guild, I bet if you look up there will be a guild or something similar for equine massage. It might be cc needs massage or some other therapy than physio. (I'd generally say its a good sign previous person only wanted to see him once. I always used to say to clients that we had a terrible business model as we tried to see the dog the smallest amount of appointments. We weren't interested business of trying to get regular appointments (unless of course owner saw the improvement and wanted more sessions).)22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈 Never save something for a special occasion. That is really helpful @daisy_1571 Thank you.
I've booked him in for physio and a trial session on a water treadmill. We will see how both go. The VNM came over for dinner. (HM turkey soup from the stash in the freezer with bread and cold meats that I bought on a whim in Ald! to see what they were like). He bought the fresh bread and a small bottle of wine for me. We chatted and he asked a question about the saddle, noting charming cob was very forward going in the woods but not so at the saddlers and has suggested I experiment a bit more with the saddle so that is also a plan.
Most Handsome is being ridden at lunchtime today so I got up at early and was at my desk at 7.00 am so I can take a few hours off to play with Most Handsome. . I've rounded up a lot of stuff I was planning on selling on bay of E and stashed it in a drawer in the spare room. I lack the energy to do that right now so I have just moved it away. I will focus on selling the saddle I no longer use or want as it is a high ticket item. Other than that, if it is listed somewhere I'll try and sell but happy to leave the rest for now.
I think it is more important to get on top of work and feel a bit more in control in that area. I'm also doing a course and I'm very behind on the lessons so hoping that I can do a couple of those today.

Yup, sometimes its worth it just to get stuff out the house rather than expend energy on trying to sell stuff. By the time you take off fees, postage, time taken getting thing wrapped and sent, awaiting feedback and potential issues. Focus on anything that will be financially worthwhile free your brain up from other tasks that use brain space
