This Time I'm Really Going To Do It

Thats funny
I have one solitary video left - of my cats, when they were quite elderly. I really need to get that transferred onto DVD.
2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I thought I would want to get some of the videos transferred but so far haven't found what I was looking for. Maybe I recorded over it??
May take me longer to KM the house. Realise it would be quicker if I just threw or took to tip but great joy yesterday when insuring the BTL property and discovered there was enough in the Paypal account to cover the cost of the insurance and buy new stirrup leathers. :j
This is all the more remarkable as mostly - other that the "I don't know what they are" items which sold for over £30 each the stuff I sell only fetches a few small pounds. So happy that the little £10 or less sales have mounted up to buy something we "need" and something "I would like" (old stirrup leathers so stretched and uneven that I spend ages fiddling with them every time I ride).Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Always nice to slowly accumulate extra pennies and have a nice surprise when they reach a useable sum.
Enjoy breaking in the leathers, I love new leather smell.0 -

We've got some old videos of holidays, and going back further Mr Goldie has holidays on cine film. We've been saying for ages that we need to get them on to DVD.I thought I would want to get some of the videos transferred but so far haven't found what I was looking for. Maybe I recorded over it??

Because I eBayed most of my items that I decluttered, it seemed to take forever...... But the additional money was so helpful. At the height of decluttering I was selling all sorts of random items such as old keys with no locks, and people were buying them!Early retired - 18th December 2014

I'm shocked! Maybe I should put more on!
Fantastic result Watty with the decluttering funds being able to purchase useful stuff. Another one here that loves the smell of leather!0 -

Totally with you all on the smell of new leather. Thinking about it reminds me of a favourite shop when I was little. It was a really old fashioned saddlers. It was a town centre show, down a quaint side street (now all bars and trendy restaurants), the front sold handbags and suitcases and then at the back was the saddlers. As a pony mad child I loved it when my mum went in there as I could always escape to the back and look at the saddles and bridles. The shop was always dark and had a golden glow from the lights and the smell was wonderful. It was old fashioned back thenMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I love a saddlers too. There was still a working tannery in the town I grew up in.
We love DT too but Christopher Eccleston left too soon.0
