  • Great news on reaching a milestone.

Hope the repairs aren't too expensive. I've been drooling over the trailers that have living built in.

A prop is essential :):):) the washing catches more of the wind, meaning more evaporative drying is going on :) and it relieves the stress on the two end poles - meaning you don't have to hammer the Wilko-bought stakes into the ground as often :)

After reading on the thermal dynamics of water evaporation I so agree with you. I have explained to Mr Watty we are both right and can we just use the prop.
Apparently it is easier to use the prop than argue with me :rotfl:
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Ohhhh nice... do you travel enough to use ?
A neighbour has a gorgeous small brand new box with real living, loo, wash basin, cooking ring, tv, the works. So lovely. She hasn't actually used the living yet as I noticed when poking around in the drawers and finding all the instruction books still in bags! I'd just have to have gone out in that within a week of getting it!

Need to go shopping today to buy stuff to poultice Foggy Fell Pony's foot. Lovely farrier suggested we do it as foot sore but he can't see where. This prompted Mr Watty to point out my first aid provisions are "inadequate" and that now we are going out more there should be a first aid kit in lorry. Have made a list. Will go shopping!
Funny how this seems exciting after not shopping for a couple of months!

Yes, shopping is fun, when you don't do much of it!

As we are intending to do a little decorating and sprucing up, I've been doing a little online shopping. Trouble is, it's a bit too easy. A few clicks of the mouse, and within two days, a box arrives.

    Trouble is, I'm having a bit too much fun - it's a bit addictive:eek:

Well on achieving 11% of target already!!! :D:D

Shopping is so much more fun when it's a rare and considered event - unless it's taking a teenager clothes shopping.......!!! ;):)

Not really no! I'd like to get out and about to events with the horses, but low on the list of priorities at the moment. We travel quite a bit with the dog and were looking at motor homes which would make that easier for overnight stays. I just thought I might be able to combine it with some transport for the horses too!! I don't think we are likely to take the plunge any time soon.

Some years ago I had a copy of H&hound on my desk and a colleague started to read it. He was a non horsey type. He got really carried away with the descriptions of the living in some up spec lorries - wanted to live in one himself :) I totally agree actually though I did point out they cost more than most houses!

Ooops. Todays target to declutter was a small pile of videos. Couldn't make the video player work - wanted to find out what was on them before binning - so tried CD player. Opened it to find a CD that I sold on bay of e about 4 months ago. Seems I sent them the packaging but not the CD :o Did'nt get any negative feedback which leads me to believe I sold it so someone as disorganised as me and they haven't watched it yet :o
Video now working and been distracted by an old Dr Who episode
