Well been to work, had my meeting, and by the time I had a catch up and a coffee with the staff, drove back to Glasgow, popped in to see mum and did a bit of shopping I'm not long home and feel all bunged up again so tidying will be delayed!
HR woman informed me I had done too many hours too soon last time I went back to work, so when I go back next month I will start on doing 7.5 hours first week and build up by 7.5 a week, when I get up to full time if I need to have the full year's holidays to use up so can use up some to stay part time....has said the organisation will make sure I am off on holiday at Christmas, so no working that or OH's anniversary, that's a big relief as I know that will be a horrible time for us all, so all in all a positive meeting, and much less anxious about going back to work now, fingers crossed the reality matches up!!!
Time for some paracetamol and a cuppa now, then will see if I feel like taking the top off the ironing mountain!RIP Iain

Congratulations to Master Moorhen.
Made a rhubarb sponge as pudding after pizza we had for dinner.....Ruby, can't remember where I heard that you should not pick rhubarb after July, have not followed that rule myself this year and there seems to be no problem, so not going to worry about it again.
Have been photocopying patterns out of a knitting book that belongs to someone else, takes ages on small printer but will keep going as can't afford to buy the magazine.....costs £5.99 in UK and something like €9 here, have never been sure why the big difference in magazines, don't expect it will change in my favour anytime soon.
Overcast most of the day here, sun just coming out now and its been much warmer than it was yesterday.
