EE switched off my mast!

  • Well, I got a generic response to my email to Olaf Swantee from the exec office, advising me to call for a full update.

The full update was that there was no update, except that signal boxes may be in in the next month or so. So I stuck to my guns of wanting the contract terminated at no cost to me.

The fourth person I was transferred to agreed to this, and gave me the PAC code thee and then. So now I can get a phone that will actually work at home!

Apparently it is policy that where the network is being 'optimised' they will release customers at no charge - in my case with 15 months left on the contract. It took a while to get that policy enacted though!! :j
