Please can you give some ideas and suggestions for some car models/makes for my son,
He is young, single, but is confused on what model and make to go for.
what car suits a 32 year old, which doesn't look to old a model but also looks smart.
Give 3-5 suggestions of cars if you can.
Include a picture please
also, it would be great if you could paste an image/link to a photo of the car. (using google images)
Requirements
Hatchbacks would be greatly preferred. No saloons or no estates,
Price range? - £2k - £3k, mabey 4k.
Questions
What min-max millage would you you suggest for this car? which isn't too much but not too little?

By the sound of it, a red Nissan Micra auto would suit him fine.

At that budget I'd be after 100k ish Miles tops....
What Milage does he cover?... 20K upwards per annum a Diesel Ticks the box.
Errr 320/5 Ci Sport?... Late MK4 Golf Gti Turbo?... Low Mile Mintish Clio 182?... Open ended question TBH.... Err £4k probably stretch to an E36 M3.. forget the 100k miles though.... Can he fix stuff himself?.... £4K would get a nice S3 Audi.... Or a nearly new Micra.....0 -
I think at that age, it's time to step away from the boy racer crowd and get something other than some little hatchback. (which I assume is what you mean?)
I'm similar age, I drive a 2004 Vauxhall Vectra hatchback, it's a big car..... Probably what you think of as a "saloon".
For the money, something of this size is going to get him a real bargain, they're half the price of the equivalent aged small hatchback (because people are obsessed with buying small cars) and being designed for the fleet market, they're usually fully loaded and much more reliable.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I must say that those Mark 2 Micras are brilliant little cars. Still loads about, too. If I was skint-ish, that's what I would go for.Je suis sabot...0
