This is a very good point. I'm just not sure how easy one off payments are. I really need to sit down and read my paper work on that one.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0

I'd definately have a look if I were you, you must be able to make whatever payment you want provided it's above the minimum I would have thought??
In any case I would definately put any surplus cash (whatever that is, cos I've never had none!) to debts that are incurring interest, leave the o% ones till laterDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Good point and accepted!
I'll check my paperwork when I get in later. I can make a minimum payment of 4% and always overpay this, but I'm not sure about making an extra payment aside from this.
I must be able to. Will check.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

OMG can you believe it!! I had 3 direct debits going out today and left the money in there for them but completely forgot! Went to the bank last night and thought oh that's handy I've got £33 I didn't know about! Spent it and the d/ds have all been returned today. Just got £2,600.00 back off em and promptly given em £117.00 backDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0

I've done something similar in the past and though oh look I have money I can treat myself and forgotten that my phone payment hadn't gone out. I maxed my OD on that one. Never again!!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
