Hi all!
Just been reading through the thread and catching up on what everyone's doing - can't believe how much progress everyone's making! Inspirational stuff!
I haven't noticed anyone mention the Mrs Cashback site - anyone heard of it? You get £10 for signing up (though there's a min withdrawal amount of £30) and it works exactly the same way as quidco/pigsback/etc. They have a really handy freebies section which puts all the no-spend cashback offers in one place. Neat!
If anyone's interested, would you PM me so I can refer you please - I get 10% of whatever cashback you earn for referring (don't worry, you still get the full amount of cashback)
If it's not too late, I'd like to join the challenge. I've currently got about £30 from AQA and £140ish tracking/validated in Quidco (plus £10 on MrsCashback) - I'll update with the exact figures when I get home tonight.

Dr, I joined up with mrscashback a little while ago, got my £10 for joining and then got up to £18.97. Then I had an email which said I've been chosen to get a gold account for free (not sure how much it costs to join), clicked the link and lost the original £10!! So beware in case this happens to anyone else.
If you're not a gold member you only get half the cash back stated, so beware of this too. Apart from that they do have some good cash back incentives.
edit oh and the other thing is you can only withdraw when you get to £30, so I got a long way to go!!DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Ooh! Sneaky! Cheers Jo, I didn't know they'd do that. TBH, the cashback amounts aren't as good as quidco, but I was aiming to do just enough to get the £10 out.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW Nerd #4910

I'm personally gonna stick just with Quidco and get it all in one pot!
Re the being upgraded to gold on mrscashback, after I'd clicked the link and logged into my account and realised I'd lost 10 quid I went back to the email and it said in really small writing right at the bottom of the email that you lose the £10 sign up if you click the link :rotfl: gotta laugh huh!!DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Arrggh!! I'd be frantically searching for the undo button!! :laugh:Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW Nerd #4910

Just been visiting the coupons/vouchers board or whatever it's official name is, I really shouldn't do that cos I end up buying things I don't need!
Just saw a thread for a photo mug from Truprint, put in the code and save £7.99, just pay £1.99 postage! I did do it through quidco, although it says that if you use any other code then quidco funds will be declined, the people posting in the thread seem to have it tracking so we'll wait and see!
Bargain for my mums birthday in August from the kids!!

Hi guys, well I am still at same amount but have items listed on ebay so hopefully they will sell. Also please pray for nice weather on Sunday so I can do the car boot sale, have loads to get rid of.
I will be doing my car insurance through quidco at end of June which has £100 cashback which is great.
I am gonna try get my head round this matched betting to try and boost my money making.
I have been saving my £2 coins for a while, I have no idea how much I have saved. My plan originally was to save up to go to lapland next xmas but am now torn betweed what to do now that I am going to uni in September. I still want to go to Lapland next year so not sure whether to carry on saving £2 coins or should I open the tin and pay it towards my credit card? What would you all do?0 -
I would certainly pay the £2 off the credit card. That cash isnt making you money there, and having the CC is costying you- for me its a no brainer. I know its nice to have savings, but you are paying for the privilidge of having them and its very satisfying to have the debts going down :j:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
