James, I'm gonna give Matched Betting a go soon. Keep wondering what to do now the footy season is ending lol and getting scared of missing a cashback offer. Been reading the Guidance threads over and over for weeks.

Gonna start with all the Quidco etc so I get comfy with cashback and referrals etc then move onto that next.

Well i think the footy season starts up again towards the end of August :)

Although you can pretty much do matched betting on any football in the world so long as the bookie and Betfair are doing the same market :) ive even been doing matched betting on Argentinian second division foot ball :rotfl:

Best one to start off with is Coral though as thats easy money :)

Yes thats kind of it. You bet on a team winning with one bookie, then the team not winning with another. Ideally you should break even from this but the profit comes from the fact that the initial bookie gives you a free bet when you sign up so after breaking even on the bets your free bet is the profit.

It took me AGES and lots of rereading to get my head round it but once you start its not too complex. You need a bit of a fund to start so I think thats going to be my goal with my money making!!

ill try that mate thanks. I have read it a few times and still dont really understand it. Are the basic rules for example 2 football games on, you bet on both using 2 different companies and u gain a small amount of money or at least ur money back?? sorry to be thick but I really dont understand :(

    thats basically it :)

You back Team A @ the bookie

and @ the betting exchange you bet against them winning which is called "laying" :) (i.e. for a football match it would cover either the draw or the loss)

just keep on reading reading and reading the help threads because it took me many months to get my head round it, in fact i think it was nearly 5-6 months it took me to get my head round it cos i was reading it in small amounts but the more u read it, the more it will all fall into place :)

I started with around a £100, you dont need much more than that. My figure in my signature has been just where i snowballed all the profits and just re-used them to do other offers :)

Coral have a sign up free-bet of £50. Matched betting will allow you to keep between 75-100% of that.

PS Dezzi, I signed up but no validation email arrived :(

I bought some Tog 24 shorts from a charity shop this Saturday for £3, tried them on when i got home and found 20p in the pocket!

Plus, I bought a flat cap for a stag night from a charity shop a couple of weeks ago for £2.50, listed it on ebay during that cheap clothes listing offer, and it sold (incl p&p) for £4.51. Awesome.
