Thanks for your help Doc :A
I've just finished my AQA test and sent it off, so keep everything crossed until further notice please!!
I can't quite remember what I put for the 'Mary' question, but summat about being honest and face-to-face and being treated like you'd like to be treated yourself! I think that's probably a bit over the top but I felt sorry for MaryDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

Well hello there - agree with Lynz about flagging challenge and need to up the morale - sure this will help some and maybe not others but...
looking back Dezzi started the challenge on the 11th June, which was 44 days ago and there are 17 days to go... making 61 days in total menaing we should make (on average! ) £16.39 per day
Which also means we should be on £721.31
Fortunately I am currently past that, so feel proud again but know full well I have not made any extra effort and I am on school holidays at the mo - actually I know I have made less effort than usual!!
Did a MS phone call today which was easy money and have about £100 worth of shops tomorrow and another £20 on Friday so should be getting closer!!! Really have to try and motivate myself in the evening but have been playing this v addictive game called Xeno Tactics - if you want to waste hours of your life have a go!!!!
Actually am feeling VERY proud right now, went to town today was a sale in DP 3 tops for £12, and a main sale BOGOF on reduced items - got 2 shorts and 3 tops for £17 - paid for with Pigsback vouchers so FREEmakes the clicking worthwhile!!
Hope all are well - please don't be disheartened if you are not oing well, perhaps try and raise £16 a day for the last part of the challenge - all extra money is well worthwhileGood luck

i have been following the challenge and think you have all done great. Whatever you have made is more than if you had sat on your bums and done nothing. You should all be proud of yourselves.
Good luck with the last 17 days.

Congrats on all your MS success, welshgirl:beer:
It's really rural here(32 mile round trip to the nearest medium-sized town) and although I've signed up for about 15 MS companies I've only ever been offered 2 bank ones and I couldn't even accept them because I have accounts there:mad: . Oh, I nearly forgot a pub meal one with R Eyes which was a disaster as the meal was so awful and DH(who had to pay for his meal himself) was ill for 2 days after it:eek:
Sometimes I'd just love to live within easy reach of a major city but maybe I'd be more in debt than I am already with the temptation of so many lovely shops0 -
Hey everyone!
I haven't posted on here for a while because I have been really busy with work and so haven't had much time for money making unfortunately. But I have received £10 from Egg for signing up to the Egg Money Manager and I have just received £50 from Halifax after they messed up the direct debits when I switched my bank account to them! So total is now £190.69 with £22.90 tracked in quidco. I've been quite tight with my budget this month as well so have hopefully saved about £30 which can be added to my total.
Keep up the good work everyone!Debts in April 07 = £12,547.61 Debts in Aug 08 = £0I'm debt free! Woohoo!DFW Member # 476 Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!0 -
Hiya everyone, had to cancel a MS shop today as I felt terrible but I dusted myself off and took the kiddies off to the local science musuem - it was free as I bought an annual pass using my tesco vouchers. I then took the kiddies to burger king as a treat but they did not accept bank cards and the cashpoint was abit of a drive away. My car overheated 3 times during my trip but OH has now sorted it out - I am glad I joined RAC thru quidco for £8.99 a year.
I just completed a survey for Juicy Brains and ordered £10 in Amazon vouchers. Now I currently have over 1,000 emails in my one a/c unread and I wondered if perhaps we could share which survey sites are the best ? I don't want to do ones for prizes - I'm just after cash rewards.
I am just trawling thru a 22 page thread on quidco to see if I can make some more money. My MS jobs have slowed down but with the kiddies home my time is somewhat limited anyway.
Keep going guys without all your positive vibes I know I wouldn't have done so well.

I just had a phone call from MS co - the place I was due to visit today was actually closed so they want me to go next week - so that will add to my totals.
