Why don't you buy it on a boots points night it's on 30th/31st oct dependant on area and there are another two after that.. That way for a £50 spend you will get £12.00 points added to your advantage card so you could use that to get her couple of other bits n bobs for free then... Savy shopping & you won't feel bad if she only has few things then... HTH :)

Last year Boots and Debenhams were having a price war and I seem to remember them both having a '20% off' day? I am hoping they'll do the same this year, as the perfume I am after is quite expensive!

Oooh! I have a lot of things to buy so a £100 spend is not out the question- how do I find out when the event is on in my area?

Is call the store as not all the shops with events are online. If you pass your shop regularly is pop in and ask if they are having a points evening.
  • Hi guys,

I want to buy my wife a new perfume for chirstmas. She likes very sweet scents. Any suggestions? I don't want a disappointed wife on Christmas day!

I'd try flowerbomb by Victor & Rolf is beautiful :)
  • Hi all,

I prefer DKNY and the good news for me is that it is on offer this week on Boots.com Only £21.50

However there are a couple of media codes that make this even cheaper at the moment -

Use code FRST75 and Save £10 when you spend £75 on fragrance

Use code FRST40 and Save £5 when you spend £40 on fragrance

Also tried Armani Si and waiting to see if this comes on offer somewhere.

I will have to speak for my missus who is not in here.
She has Alien, Allure and Pure Poison.

Someone mentioned a French perfume manufacturer called Fragonard, which was intersting, because we visited the South of France - Grasse - around fifteen years ago and did a few tours of the perfume factories - Fragonard, Galimard amongst them. As part of the tour, you can mix/blend/create your own perfume, which I found facinating. You can also buy perfumes from the factory shops at greatly reduced prices. I came away with a 500ml bottle (yes, half a litre!!), of Galimard Citoyen aftershave, which I still have.

Anyway, as you were ladies, sorry to interrupt:)

Its currently Michael Kors - Island. It was Viva La Juicy but I now find that too sweet and Island is more musky. I go through phases of what smells I prefer, at the moment its clean fresh smells. I do love Especially Escada (I think thats what its called....) which to me smells like soap.

Though, if I could, I'd wear OHs Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb that I got him for Christmas last year, it smells amazing on him!
