And if she is entitled to it she will get it, if not she won't - simple.

Treating her in a derogatory manner is unnecessary and rude.

Please point out where I have been derogatory or rude to her? She is the one who mentioned scrounging. All I have done is point out the facts. How she construes them is up to her.

  • I want to no if I am entitled to more financial support if I am in a larger house. Not because I want more money, merely because I was keen to rent the house to keep it in my family, and what the financial downfall for me would be.
Yes I will be staying put, because its just out of my league right now to pay the difference.
I have not once indicated that I am interested in this house for financial gain, it was my late Grandmothers house, and I would have liked to be able to afford to live there.
Thankfully there are people that gave me an honest, helpful answer and for that I appreciate.
  • She was asking "how much more she would get", not what she was entitled to.

For the record I did not ask how much more I would get, I asked will I get more support, the difference being, I am not expecting more, just asking how it works.

What other 'support' were you expecting, if not money?

Your question was legitimate, but it was very clear that you were asking if you would get more money.
  • please re read, the op that should clear it up

1 - will I receive more help to cover the increase in rent?

From the OP - I'm not sure would other 'help' you would be looking for that would 'cover the increase in rent'?

There was nothing wrong with your question, but you are digging yourself into a hole by suggesting people are misreading your post!

At least the OP accepted the answers and didn't complain how unfair it was etc etc

I was asking if I would receive more financial support? would I be entitled? I am clueless how it works.
See that how you will, I wasnt expecting a rude reply, which I have taken offence to. ( not by you)

    Financial support = money ;)

poppasmurf was not being rude, but simply stating that your situation has not changed so you will not be entitled to more money/ financial support.
