Transferring Contacts from Alcatel OT-808 to PC or iphone

A family member has an elderly Alcatel OT-808 and has just upgraded to an iphone - problem is all the contacts in the phone book are not readily transferable. Bluetooth does not help as the iphone BT is very restrictive and will not allow this transfer.
The Alcatel software PC Suite for "device not found". USB driver successfully installed, phone and laptop have been restarted but I just cannot get the phone to connect to its own software.
Any ideas as to a workaround to get the contacts transferred? The idea of transferring hundreds of contacts manually is surprisingly unappealing.
