We can get a $5 Starbucks eGift Card for 500 SB.
But $5 is only worth £3.12.
So exactly what I said.
The value of the $ against he £ is irrelvant as we're not talking about currency conversions, nor are we talking about starbucks gc's as the one mentioned in the email was amazon.
At the moment as far as I can tell a $5 amazon costs 450sb, while we pay 849 for £5.
So a rate of 1.1:1*, while ours is 0.6:1**. On a flat comparison.
If you then factor in the currency conversion.
And assuming that as you say $5:£3.12
Then we should be working on a rate of 0.7:1***if you were buying Amazon gift cards worth £3.12
So then following it through to assume that our £5 amazon gc is worth $8 then the rate in the US should be 0.9:1 to match our prices (at the current rate of currency conversion which as we know fluctuates)****
So actually we're not working at as bad a rate as you would initially think once you factor in the currency conversion - feel free to argue with the maths, I've had a few glasses of wine.
Obviously other gift card values are different and the 450SB value for a $5 amazon gc might not be current as being in the UK I can't actually see the US reward store and was mentioned as a sale price back in 2010 (but still seemed to be current in October 2012).

my first goal is 140 so looks like it should be an easy day to get sb0

My first goal is 140 and my second is a horrific 340!
The only advantage I can see to hitting these second goals is that I'll get a huge number of bonus swagbucks when they finally come through in December but I refuse to bust a gut.
Six points for every round of sbtv today so may play a few of those0 -
First goal is 140...even with double points, I am going to struggle. No surveys for me
