Swagbucks - September 2013

Did anyone else get an e-mail on Saturday, the main message worded as follows;
"gotmurked, you've got 198 Swag Bucks available right now! That's more than enough for a $5 Amazon.com* Gift Card."
Does this mean US users get a $10 Amazon gift card for around 400SB? This is a much better cash-out rate than the UK!
This evening I received a follow up e-mail apologizing for the Saturday one saying it had been sent in error - and giving me 5SB to make up for it. Being the suspicious type, I think their offering me 5SB to forget the e-mail as it possibly shows what a poor deal the UK SB members are getting.
The follow up e-mail reads;
"gotmurked, you may have received an email on Saturday saying 'your gift card is waiting to be claimed'.
This email was sent by mistake due to a programming error. We sincerely apologize for this and would like to credit you 5 Swag Bucks (to be posted to your account in the next 48 hours) as a small token for any confusion this may have caused.
The Swag Guy hates making mistakes. Stay tuned and we'll make it up to you with extra fun and rewarding ways to get your next gift card.

Yes, I did. I was very impressed with the 5SB consolation!!!!0 -
I think thats the error they're referring to gotmurked, I know it's a better rate but not that much better from what I remember.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I was assuming the error was that they had sent e-mails to UK Swagbucks members along with US members and had calculated their UK SB balance against the US cash-out levels.
I think it's quite a bit better if calculating up, US members can get a $20 Amazon gift card for around 800SB. That would be £12.56 at today's exchange rate. We get £5 in Amazon credit for 849SB?0 -
No I mean US cash out levels are roughly 1sb=1c, I seem to recall that a while ago $5 gift cards were on sale for 450SB.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Anybody have difficulty redeeming the latest Amazon GC pay out? Got mines on Wed but only just back in the country today and when I went to apply the code to my account, I got this message on Amazon:
"There was a problem with redeeming your gift certificate
There's something wrong with the gift certificate claim code you entered. Please check for transposed digits, omitted digits, and similar errors. Don't worry, this is not case sensitive."
It was a straight forward copy and paste, everything matches, no extra spaces anywhere etc....0 -
I got the first email saying about the gift card but no follow up email or 5sb credit!0

Someone on facebook had the same problem and they think Swagbucks have issued a US voucher code instead of a UK one. They contacted Swagbucks but last I heard was that they'd not received a reply (I think it was a £15 voucher). I'd contact support and if you get no joy post a message to Nick (UK rep) on our facebook page asking for his helpSwagbucks joined 5th July 2012 - Earned 2012: Amazon - £300 - 2013: Amazon - £610
