another free bourgeois lip gloss from orangina-hubby likes the 500ml size for the car and have been pretty lucky winning every second or third one
2clarins products a bath essence and body balm -both were presents
  • 2 INS:

Garnier minerals deodourant. I think I have half a bottle left, but not sure how long it will last

Rescue remedy night - having too many semi-sleepless nights at the moment stressing about things.

Also bought some new straighteners today - Nicky Clarke Desireds are half price in boots just now, and they got really great reviews when I was researching new straighteners last month - £80 seemed awfully expensive, but £40 is pretty good!
  • UU

Handmade bath bomb - WNBA prefer lush ones.

Origins clear improvements face mask - my skin seems clear and not as oily but will reserve judgement for a few days.
    No more buying toiletries
  • Just edited my post of yesterday as it didn't quite make sense. Sober too, I should take more wine with it.

TA Avon Bronze Sun Protect Hairspray, was in a box in the bathroom cabinet. I'd think I'd kept it as it was the only hairspray I had, but it must have been years old; it was seldom used as my hairstyles don't seem to really need it.
I love vanilla scents so had a try of the Avon Winter Cocoon sandalwood and vanilla shower cream this morning. Not a wintry scent at all, perhaps the 'winter' bit refers to the cream being extra moisturising. A really nice scent though, one of the best Avon have done in shower stuff.
I've put it to one side whilst I use up the creams/gels that are open inc. a 3/4 full BS Moringa 60ml mini I'd forgotten about, found whilst decluttering.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

2 pack of cotton wool pads from Aldi, very cheap compared to most and I am on my last pack.

    UU's
Elemis pro collagen marine cream 4 ml WBA HG love this product.

Herbal essences anti breakage hair conditioner 400 ml WBA did the job and I liked the scent, my hair was soft after use. Replaced with another,I think I have atleast a 9 month supply of conditioner left.

Moisture melt coconut oil 90g WNBA cost alot compared to coconut oil, which I use on my scalp weekly to stop it itching. I did not like the smell of it which really isn't a problem as I am my hair is currently covered in it with a layer of cling film and a scalf wrapped around it. I don't usually cover all my hair as it does not seem to do alot for my hair but coconut oil is a HG for my scalp. I think I have tried most things to stop my scalp itching from SLS free shampoos and still the only thing that stops me itching is coconut oil.

Flexitol heel balm sachet WNBA does not do anything more than others I have used

Flexitol hand balm sachet WNBA prefer neutrogena concentrated hand cream.

Dermatonics heel balm sachet WBA this did make a difference to my feet and I would buy it.

Unknown soap sample from FP WNBA I do love the soaps from this company but still have no idea what it is called and I do have quite a few full sized ones so I don't need anymore soap ( apart from a new one that lush are releasing for Christmas that I will buy to try)

Tresseme keratin smooth treatment 15 ml WNBA it was okay but I did not feel it did much for my hair.

I can't believe how quickly September is going, I am quite proud that I have not ordered/ bought anything for 2 weeks apart from cotton pads. I do need deodorant but that's it. I will go to lush when they release the Christmas items ( have a £15 voucher and 10% voucher to use) which I am excited about, my lush stash has never been this low for over 5 years . My birchbox is waiting at the post office and I do have a parcel ordered a few weeks ago that should be with me this week some of those items are for Christmas presents but I will class them a ins when they arrive and only outs when they actually leave my house.
  • Evening! I am officially on holiday, although we're not going away. Painted my nails tonight, then had to remove it all after I smudged it all.

    UUs in the meantime

L'occitane precious fluid 1 ml sachet
L'occitane precious eye balm 1 ml sachet

I have lots of the divine cream samples. Did not like the scent of these and they bobbled v quickly

L'occitane cherry blossom hand cream 10ml tube
L'occitane 15% shea dry skin foot cream 10ml tube

The hand cream has disappeared from my handbag so am counting this as a UU. Have a 30ml of this scent still in the stash and I love the scent so WBA. Also WBA the foot cream, once the others are used up this is going on the list to purchase.

So far my staycation mainly consists of sleeping, long overdue!

    Morning ladies

Just been catching up on the last few days. Rosemary your comment about the deodorant explosion looking like someone had joined the mile high club really made me laugh :rotfl:

Emsjune, think I will try the Elnett heat protector spray. Sounds good!

Had my make up done at a Clinique counter yesterday as wanted to try out there new primers, the lady used the anti redness one and a matte foundation on me as I said that I get red patches and oily skin. It seemed to last ok, chin wasn't as oily as it is normally but I don' know whether it was the primer or foundation that helped :o

I'm on the look out for a good mattifying primer. I bought the MUA one a while back and it doesn't do anything (didn't expect it to really for £2). Has anyone tried the Body Shop matte it skin primer? I know I asked about primers on here before but wondered if anyone had any specific recommendations for matte ones?

    Now onto the UU/INS

    UU -

128: VO5 Beyond Blonde Conditioner 500ml - WMBA, does the job and good when it is on offer. Need a change from this though now.

129: BS Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel 250ml - WBA, love the smell of this.

130: Benefit Total moisture facial cream - WNBA, ok but didn't love it.

131: Elemental Herbology Calendula & Rose Damask Moisturiser 5ml - WNBA, again ok but didn't love it. Was a GWP.

    Now for the INS :D

    62 - L'oreal Ever Sleek Shaampoo 250ml
    63 - L'oreal Ever Riche Conditioner 250ml
64 - La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo 40ml
    65 - S&G The Righteous Butter 50ml
    66 - S&G Hand Food 50ml

All were needed as they are replacing UU or needed for my upcoming holiday.

Wow that was a long post!

Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time
  • Three ins - two of the freebie Wild Rose hand creams (my mum didn't want hers) and one Honeymania lip balm, a present from my mum. Possibly another handcream to come if my boyfriend goes into town. I don't mind stocking up as it's a HG :)
