Hi everyone :hello: I would like to join you also if that's alright I have been lurking for sometime and really need to get organised as money is short until payday I am trying to use up what I have in. So this is my meal plan and I am going to stick with it.

Sunday: Roast beef, roast potatoes & parsnips, cauliflower cheese, peas & sweetcorn, cabbage. We rarely have desert however today we are having toffee apple crumble & custard.

Monday: HM fishcakes (not made before) with homegrown salad and LO cauliflower cheese

Tuesday: Steak (well roast beef leftovers) onion and mushroom baguettes with salad and a couple of HM wedges for DS

Wednesday: Sausage & onions with HM wedges and cabbage

    Thursday: Tuna pasta bake

Friday: HM triple cooked chips, sausage (if DS hasn't eaten them) and eggs

Saturday: HM lamb and lentil curry with HM Nan bread

Sunday: Pork chops, stuffing, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, cabbage and carrots

Writing it down makes it more real I am liking the feeling of commitment, thank you for the thread :T

Oh! Breakfast is not usually eaten in our house (hangs head in shame) if it is it's toast or bacon sandwiches. Lunch is HM bacon and lentil soup or HM minestrone soup.

    Good luck everyone

I did a big shop this weekend (involved 4 different supermarkets!) so should have plenty to keep us going.

Sun - Roast turkey, carrots, green beans, cabbage, stuffing and gravy (done)
Mon - Stir fry of LO turkey, mushrooms, carrots, green beans, cabbage and noodles, with corn cobs on the side (done)
Tues - Chicken and mushroom pie with sweet potato wedges and baked beans (swapped for pasta bake)
Wed - Pasta bake with tomato, spinach and bacon and a little grated cheese (I'm out for lunch and then the cinema in the eve, so something that can be made ahead and eaten as and when required) (swapped for paella)
Thurs - Lamb curry with rice (swapped lamb for chicken)
Fri - Paella (swapped for pie and wedges)
Sat - Turkey rasher sandwiches (out at theatre)

Have a good week everyone! x

Things have been moved round a little, I'm now going to the cinema tonight instead of tomorrow, and will be going to see a friend's band tomorrow night. I'm doing all the same meals, just using chicken instead of lamb for the curry and spaghetti instead of penne for the pasta bake. x
