Many Thanks for kind words. Paid off my debt to my sister so am now really attacking the mortgage: overpayment of £550 today.

Have now started looking for a dog online (Border Collie possibly) - will keep you posted on that front too :)
  • £215.26 overpayment - just over £61,000 to go.

    150 overpayment...
Car failed MOT (as expected) but cost not as bad as expected. Rarely drive these days anyway because I am within easy cycling distance from work...
Not got a dog yet - probably makes sense for me to wait till summer hols now (I'm a teacher)...

    Great stuff :T.

Am getting a dog on Sunday after waiting for more than 15 years :)

A lurcher called Flake from Bath Dogs Home.

Will dent my mortgage paying progress, but can't wait!

Just phoned up First Direct and they said figure left on my mortgage was £58,950.80, which I think is wrong (convinced I owe a grand more!). Definitely not complaining!
