I had a dvd recorder/player repaired out of warranty for free.
I did some research and apparently it was a common fault.
I also had a £600 lap top out of warranty repaired for free although I did have to argue the point on that one, they did it in the end.0 -

Dictionary definition of inherent: "existing in someone or something as a permanent and inseparable element, quality, or attribute".
The very fact it fails eventually is part of the inherent nature of a product - which was my point.0
