18 Name the Western adaptation of these Samurai movies
a) Seven Samurai..............The Magnificent Seven ...........http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Magnificent_Seven
b) Yojimbo...............A Fistful of Dollars
In 1964, Yojimbo was remade as A Fistful of Dollars,
c) Zatoichi
I have gone through the list myself and all my answers match up to the list posted here except this one.
I can see that A Fistful of Dollars is an adaptation of Yojimbo but also noticed that there are others linked to it but Last Man Standing is the only one I can see that is an "officially authorized remake of Yojimbo."
The directors of A Fistful of Dollars did not seek permission from the original director of Yojimbo and were sued.
I could be wrong here myself but thought I would post my findings.

Thanks to everyone for all your hard work. One question..Is the list complete as it says 32 not 40? :-SNo you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -

The question says "Name the Western adaptation..". I would say Last Man Standing is a "Gangster" rather than a "Western".0 -
