I want a meat and bone grinder.

I've finally and absolutely had enough of my OH!
Nah just kidding, honest.
:D
Mutt is being fed a raw meat diet and so far I've been buying already ground 'ready meals' if you like. (Natural Instinct - he absolutely devours them and is thriving after having all sorts of skin problems over the years.)
I'm sure it would be cheaper to do my own but I'll need a grinder. (Note: a mincer is no use, it has to be able to grind bone too.)
I found several in the US needless to say but not too many here.
Anyone recommend anything?
Yes I know he can just chew bones....but he wont so no point in suggesting alternative feeds thanks.

That link was great krlyr. Any idea how much those mincer/grinders are?0

Actually krlyr...I've changed my mind, I don't love you after all. :rotfl:
The Cuisinpro doesnt seem to be available anymore, but there is a STX version which is similar but only to be got in the US.
I just can't find anything here.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Found an Andrew James grinder that some people have used for chicken wings....looks like that's going to be as good as it gets. £79.99Herman - MP for all!0

Sorry! It was available last time I posted that link here, guess it's been discontinued since. I do vaguely recall seeing it on eBay under a different name to what was mentioned on that thread though, I think..0

I'm quite surprised to see the good old US has plentiful choice in this market, wonder why the UK lags so far behind.Herman - MP for all!0

From raw feeding groups, I get the idea the US do lots of food co-op type things where they'll share a whole cow/pig/lamb/etc. between friends, and I suppose they save costs by prepping it themselves? Not to mention the hunting and roadkill that seems to be a bit more popular over there.0

Mmmmm...... I can sense a mission coming on.
You can't really even import something due to the electric current differences between countries. I believe you can get converters but it's better to go from 240 to 110 rather than the other way around, which doesn't help.Herman - MP for all!0 -

I have been using one of these for a couple of years and regularly grind whole chickens and rabbits in it, no problem.
This thread on Petforums will link you to a cheaper version of the Andrew James model, but some people have had problems with that brand and have since swopped to the Kenwood. They did stock them in Currys at one point too.
