  • Happy 6th Anniversary everyone!

    Having got through August with a bit of luck, I am now also doing a couple of extra challenges which should help boost my motivation a bit.

    So can I be put down for £10.00 a day again for September?

    OH informed me that my car MOT is due week after payday not week before (it was his car before mine) which means that my money I have put aside for it will get a bit extra in, just in case! Plus the following month I stop paying for the car so yippee!

    Camping this weekend coming so no spends - yey :)

    Good luck for September everyone x

  • I have made a massive 99p today from an ebay sale, I think I am gonna aim for 120 pound again and hopefully earn more than that but I am running out of ideas and things to sell. Ebay has gone very slow for me, things are just not selling.
    Make £10 a day in :July, = £128.70 august = £437.19/£120: september £55.71/£120.00

    Not sure how well i'm going to do so I'll start with £5 a day please.

    Got a few ideas up my sleeve already, but eager to learn how others make their targets, and how they manage to do it each month!

  • Good afternoon everyone! Wishing you all a happy and prosperous week :D

    Off the starting blocks today with £4 in from Crowdology. :j (I do love that survey site. It's so delightfully random. I made 40p just now, and £2.73 last week, for surveys that didn't seem much different in length! But the quirkiness of it - and the lovely low cash-out - is such fun!)

    Plus I listed a few items on the 'bay yesterday that'll finish next Sunday, mainly shoes, and got DS to help me clear out a cupboard to find a few more pairs to sell. Being a Shoe-aholic does come in handy when times are lean as I can sell some of my many, many, many pairs (most that I'll not be able to fit into ever again) off for a few squids here and there!:p

    A big hello to all the new folks joining this month - that was me just six months ago - and the savings and awareness and money-gaining I've achieved from these challenges is the best thing that's happened to by bank balance for a long long time!!! :beer:

    Afternoon everyone...I am just about to the the massive task of sewing in name tapes for my two boys ready for tomorrow's return to school...plus side is that I can spend the entire day on ebay wednesday ;)

    I just found out I sold a few books on amazon...messages went to spam I reckon...all I got was a 'you are late at dispatching' email today...oops (blooming spam folder!) I made £19.85 for the two books so not all bad. I may get rubbish feedback but I messaged both buyers to let them know the messages went to spam...

    I can add £1.72 bank interest and a nice £250 from account shuffling and not buying the drumkit I have been watching on ebay :( or is it :) {not sure which face suits that situation!!!}

    I hope everyone else is having good luck in the money making x Day two for me and I am on target with a nice extra £354.28 hitting my house deposit account today :j
