As I am new to these challenges can someone tell me if I can put money saved - eg using coupons or getting cash-backs - into my £10 a day. Thanks

Yes you can especially if you pay the money off a debt or put it in a savings account.

I would like to join the challenge and go for £10 a day this month as I need to put moneys back into the holiday fund - I have borrowed £1000 from it to pay for my course :rotfl:

How do I create the bit at the bottom to put in my progress ??

How do I get the colours to work on the text ?

Yes, so long as you use the money for the challenge. I also use any saving made from reduced goods that I buy but only if it is what I would have bought anyway and not a treat that I would not have bought unless it was at a knockdown price.

You can definitelty include cb. When using coupons we say if you take the savings made and use them towards debt/credit/savings etc then include it.
  • I'm taking inspiration from last month's thread and have set up a 'road kill' jam jar on my desk - £1.67 added to it found when cleaning the car. So now I have a nice clean car AND have got off the blocks with the challenge!

OH & DS have been warned that any money found on bookshelves/desks during cleaning, or anything found in pockets before washing, will be taken away as legitimate finds for the jar - haven't seen DS move so quick to tidy up his desk in a long while ...:)

    Hi all,

Thanks Aesop for running this thread. Think it is really going to help me get motivated to start making a bit more money.

I'm off to a good start as I had a craft fair today and can declare £112 profit so that's straight into the Sept pot for me :j
