Hi all,
Thanks for my birthday messages- I had a day pretty much like any other really although I did get bought a lovely new shiny tablet from my hubby and kids and the kids made me some lovely cards which bought a tear to my eye (as they always do!).
OH treated me to a pizza for tea last night but in true MSE fashion I used a BOGOF voucher saving us £18 and also a £2 MOC for my cake so I'm adding a further £20 to my total.

Good evening all! Just had a catch-up - it's been over a week since I last checked in I think. You've all done brilliantly! Very inspiring!
Have been really busy in a nice way. I made a few suggestions to a charity I volunteer for, about new systems and stuff, and they ran with it and invited me to draft and design a whole new system! That's what I've been doing all last week!! I'll be doing it voluntarily at first, on the understanding that as soon as they can allocate a bit of funding my way it'll become paid work. I'm really thrilled! I've been with them for two years now, and they do fabulous work, and so even a small half-days regular income (for work I can do from home) will be just amazing. So fingers crossed it all works out. I guess it's future-money-making!:j
But as for hard cash here and now:
85p MOC at Iceland
43p roadkill (collected whilst walking home from the carnival last Saturday)
£2.20 e-bay sale
£10 Amazon voucher from Ipsos
I shan't make target this month now, but it's still more money than I had when I started.
And for the third month in a row I haven't had to borrow anything off DS to reach the end of the month, so it's all good!!:)NOV 2014 £151.74/£150 ... DEC 2014 £303.81/300 ... JAN 2015 £143.33/£150
