Would anyone have any old pyjamas/sheets/duvets/fabric they are throwing out??? i would be very grateful for them to make charity quilts. I am especially looking for pink fabrics to make a quilt for Cancer Focus breast cancer campaign fundraising, and brushed cotton pyjamas/sheets etc for childrens quilts. It doesn't matter what the condition is as they will be getting cut up! If you are able to post anything to me please PM me for address. Thanks in advance :)

Thank fairyclicks. I've decided I'm not beaten yet. There is still almost a week to go!
Wombled a @sd@ receipt today so that's over £3.00 to add to my total and I'm endeavouring to get some more stuff on eb@y ASAP. :)

  • Thanks for all the congratulations everyone. And no Fairy, i'm not starting till the end of next week i think and I must admit i am feeling so much better today. I think the relief of stress has a big part to play in it.

PM me your address and i can post you 2 pink single quilt covers and pillowcases (i have 2 girls). They are reversible so one side is baby pink and one side is dark pink. That should keep you going. I may also have a brushed cotton single pink sheet with hearts on it. I have 2 but eldest has moved to a double bed so could only give you one. Let me know if they are any good. Girls being girls there may actually be the odd pen mark on, but nothing major :rotfl:

No money made to, but nothing spent either so i'm happy with that

I had a budget for my sons birthday meal and have managed to get my hands on some kids eat free vouchers since, so i will be using them towards the end of the week. Will be making a saving of around £12 so i will add that to my total as it was allocated from another budget  Won't add it till i've been tho, just incase i decide to spent it on something else like upgraded deserts! :rotfl:

  • Hi all,

Hope everyone is feeling better (or if never been poorly still feeling well) :)

Congratulations on the job CP - well done :T

Well I had high hopes for the craft fair I was at on Sunday but unfortunately it was a total disaster. I ending up taking £6.75 all day (and that was better than some of the stallholders there :(). The stall cost £12 but I had paid for it at the end of last year so accordingly I am going to declare £5 as this is what I can pay in from my cash tin.

I can also declare the grand total of 49p from Nectar adpoints last week as well :D

Got two one more 4 hour craft fair booked for Saturday and then I'm off to paint faces at a fete for a further 4 hours so fingers crossed they are both good and will net me some more £'s for the pot :o

Don't think I'm gonna make my £300 target though :( although it is my birthday tomorrow so I might just get a little bit of cash - fingers crossed :p
