Unfortunately unless you discover how to change the laws of physics a 2 kW electrical resistance heater is always going to consume 2 kW and therefore cost 28p/h to run, assuming your electricity is charged at 14p/kWh.Solar install June 2022, Bath
4.8 kW array, Growatt SPH5000 inverter, 1x Seplos Mason 280L V3 battery 15.2 kWh.

Here's how to change the laws of physics. Buy an air source heat pump. 1kW goes in and 4kW comes out. There's a sticky thread at the top of this board - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=78I am the Cat who walks alone0

A halogen heater or bar fire gives instant heat and an oil filled electric radiator heats up slowly and retains that heat for longer. Both cost the same to run.
Either way for 24/7 going to cost a fortune.0 -
I would get a wall-mounted ceramic heater, only 400w, they heat up surprisingly hot, and also cheap to run
