It's out today, I've avoided Mac's since the late 80's but having messed about with Safari on Windows, I'm impressed.............

Yep, it is good as much as it pains me to say it, certainly better than Firefox, faster than Opera and smoother than IE.

Shame Mac's are so expensive, I guess that this is Apples attempt to pull PC users across, I think they will have some takers though.

I'm browsing on it now also.

    Runs on Windows Server 2003.

I'm worried. This isnt normal. Its too Safari-like. Me thinks apple is up to more than this.

Have they ported Cocoa API to Windows?

It's just a pity they can't get itunes to work properly. Even from a clean windows install, version 7 still crashes on my pc and can't play anything without being jumpy.

Don't have an ipod, I just used to find itunes convenient for subscibing to podcasts. I tend to use WMP as my mp3 player can play wma files.

Mate try winamp, I was really against anything new as I was a wmp user but now im glad I swapped it so much better than wmp, a really useful equalizer a decent preamp and so much more compact but easier to see track listings :)

http://www.winamp.com/ the classic style I reckon is the best :)

HO Hum.. as much as this pains me... This is great... I have never liked other browsers.. I always had bad experiences with Firefox and Opera so always stuck with IE.. Just installed Safari about an hour ago and I really like it..

Thanks to the OP for this..
