Asda school Uniform from 95p

Official insert

Great spot! Asda's 'value' George school uniform is now on sale. As an example, prices for three to six year olds include:

• Vest 67p (sold as three pack for £2)
• Trousers/Skirt £1.75
• Shoes £4.50
• Sweatshirt £1.75

Larger outfits are also available for six to 10 year olds and 10 to 12 year olds, these cost a few pence more.

Back to the original post...

Hi,

Just been to Asda & they've got their uniforms out already ready for September.

Shirts are 95p upwards

Skirts and trousers are £1.75 upwards

Sweatshirts are £2.25 upwards.

The cheapest price is for the smaller sizes but the prices dont go up much.

I did a search and couldn't find a mention & have posted in grabit and not 'shop dont drop' as I reckon their going to sell pretty quickly? Unless they have oodles of stock?

They are advertising that you can get a full school uniform for £10. Bargainous me thinks :)

Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

beware cheap uniform. I knew a child once who wore cheap polyester clothing, she ran around the playground and caught fire.

The big question - do they do non-iron??? Last year I bought polo shirts from Asda and they shrank by 2 sizes on the first wash, other items from various retailers take an age to iron. I now go by 'cost per wear' and in my experience the M & S uniforms last until they grow out of them and never need to be ironed, even the non-iron shirts if you take them out of the tumble dryer straight away. I am open to negotiation - I just want the best quality, lowest-maintenance uniforms for the cheapest price!

I hve no idea whether they are non iron. My girls are out of ASDA's sizes so I wont be buying them!

I just think they were really good value at a quick look. If my girls were in their sizes I'd be buying some. Even if I did decide to buy more expensive uniform they are a good buy to have as 'spare'.

Also, some people cannot afford to buy more expensive uniform so this is fantastic for them :)

I don't think this is a Grabbit, as their uniform is cheap every year.
I've found the quality to be variable.

Quality of boys trousers in £9.99 uniform is poor but there better quality boys trousers are excellent value at only around £4.

I agree with the post about M&S, their school shirts and trousers really last and look good until outgrown, I think they are well worth the extra and they sometimes have promotions going at the end of the Summer Term
