I need to set up a new email address - does anyone have any reccommendations for the best providor? Don't want to use my ISP and I've a fuzzy memory of yahoo being in the news a while back for having email accounts hacked, plus I've read various things about google and their "big brother is watching you " characteristics. Am clueless about this sort of thing so any advice welcome.

why not get a domain? A me.uk domain cost about 7 quid for 2 years and you can redirect email to it to any email supplier you like, and can change to different suppliers as and when their security is found lacking.0

10 years with yahoo.co.uk- no problems.Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
