Virgin Data Protection Breach

Hi All, I'm new here and would like some advice. Virgin Media gave details out about my account to my mum without her having any of my security details or my permission . I have complained twice with no acknowledgement and I am currently writing a letter to their head office but not sure whether to ask for some compensation now or approach this at a later date.

Strange, I've had trouble getting information from my own account if I don't answer the security question right

what was the reason for them to give out the details ?

i assume they didn't just random ring up your mum to give out the account details

Seems you are more concerned about getting money off of them than any actual data protection breach.

Complain to ICO if you are concerned about breaches in Data Protection.
