Monarch - 5hr Delay Compensation Rejected

Hi,just looking for some advice. We submitted a compensation Claim to Monarch fora delayed flight of over 5hrs. Our Claim has been rejected - the planeapparently had a "a main landing gear fault" Apparently this isclassed as "extraordinary circumstance" according to Monarch - amechanical fault surely isnt "extraordinary?!?!!?!?! is it worth mepursuing this further - or am i wasting my time?!

I don't know know about wasting your time, but you are certainly wasting mine. Read the posts on the Monarch thread, including the FAQs on page one, before posting yourself, please.

Please delete this thread to minimise forum clutter and repost in the Monarch thread. Then open a bottle of wine and read, read, read. Then come back with a question.

Yeah, it's now becoming noticeable that the patience is wearing thin from all quarters.
Time for a chill pill guys

Time to only answer questions relating to the court process I think. Every other bit of information that gets you to court is there in the FAQ's and various sub threads like taking the airlines to court.
