I have been waiting and pushing for a court case for 3 years and now I have one. I have done most of the work in gaining evidence and I wish I would have hired a now win no fee shark to progress matters sooner than the crappy insurer provided company.
Beware there is a statue of limitations on any litigation that is 3 years after the incident so you may need to hurry up. Competent solicitors need time to check details and facts before going to court (not 3 years in my case) so get your skates on.
One more point - check that the payment you received wasn't a settlement, e.g. the insurer hasn't already taken the 3rd party to court and won without you knowing and has given you a pitty payment and took the your gold!The harder one works the luckier one gets!0
