So just the old dealers turning up to worry about then...
Yeah because they are going to want to anywhere near a busted grow house. Or if it was an indy grower they are even going to have let the dealers know where they were growing in the first place. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Where does it say it was a busted house?Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -

Nice post G M; and I can't quite match the OP, but over 20 years ago, when househunting in SE London, the 1st one I viewed had a greenhouse roof-high full of the stuff- which, given that the owner was conducted the viewing himself, struck me as a bit naive... and no, I didn't buy (the herb or the house)0

Should have asked if the plants were included in the sale :rotfl:Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
I don't think anyones been caught out as this tends to be in the local paper when it happens. The story is that the vendors are a separating couple who have both moved out, but there is only one vendor listed and they have moved relatively nearby so perhaps the operation has been moved along. It's not that the whole house was a farm as far as I can see but just an outhouse and the attic, think they probably lived there too.
They did own the place quite a while. I think the dealers will probably hear that someone has moved on or about raids. Not sure though, this is one of the things I was maybe worried about. 'Farms' are not an entirely uncommon event in the area so hopefully the empty house will mean people move on. We visited the area a few times and there have been no issues at night. Perhaps we will try knocking on the neighbours door to see if they are aware with any difficulties with the house. Any further advice?Saving for a deposit. £5440 of £11000 saved so far:j0 -
That has to have been about the mildest 'attack' ever reported!adouglasmhor wrote: »Post reported for personal attack. I hope you enjoy your ban.
Come on adougllasmhor...
* get a sense of humour and
* accept that in a public forum you'll get all sorts of responses. Learn from the ducks..... and their backs..... you know: water off....
Now - should a start changing the tenor of my posts? My 'serious' (and hopefully informative) advisery post for new landlords has gained 92 'thanks' over the last 2.5 years.
My tongue-in-cheek post above has gained 23 'thanks' in just 24 hours!
Does that say something about this forum? Me? Or all the rest of you!0
