Can't save a Hijack This scan

hi closed, can you please advise what I need to do with that programme and how to go about it?

Download [URL=http://www.avast.com/download-thank-you.php?product=FA-AVAST&locale=en-ww[/url]this file[/URL] and save it somewhere you can find it easily.

Then follow the instructions here to remove mcafee and run the MCPR tool.

Then go back to the first file you downloaded and install Avast.

Let us know when you've done that.

Hi Waddler, this laptop is severley messed up. When I tried to run the file it all just hung again and after having a total huff I haven't tried it again. I do hope to get a chance this weekend when I have time to spare.
