32 bit Video Driver for Windows 7 is here if you need it and it isn't supplied via Windows Updates.

DELL QuickSet 32bit for Windows 7 if you want it.

If other Drivers are missing when you look in the Device Manager, you can find them here
But some of them will be in the Optional Updates once you've checked for updates via Start > All Programs > Windows Updates.

Seems that the memory is in 2 x 512MB RAM formation. So you'll either have to spend £11.99(as per post #30) on each laptop to take the RAM up to 2GB RAM or just swap out one of the 512MB modules to take them to 1.5GB RAM each for £6 each instead.

Hi there, I have ordered 4 sticks of 1GB altogether, so enough to bring both laptops up to 2GB.

Unless you have a printed product key either on the machine or on the sleeve of an actual WIN 7 disc it is not genuine. Did you buy it from a reputable store if so you should ask for a refund as they are selling potentially illegal software etc.

Actually, this is not quite true. If purchased online via digital download, you get a screen you need to print of which contains the CoA.
I speak with authority as I have 2 Win 7 Pro 64 bit keys purchased via the original 'student purchase deal' done when Win 7 first launched.
I ordered an actual DVD as an option for an extra £10.

One copy went on my PC, the other was purchased by my son (we were both students at the time) and went onto his laptop which originally came with Vista.

The laptop was passed to me & after a good use, is now up on the 'bay' with a fresh W7 install. It will come with the printout with the CoA on, so is perfectly legit.
    Never Knowingly Understood.
