Does he have plenty of evidence of residence elsewhere?

Don't think there 's fixed rules more about evidence of you are living as a couple.

I don't know who told you that your boyfriend (please don't use the word partner because it suggests more than a boyfriend!) can stay 2/3 nights because this is a myth and has no foundation in the 'rules'.

No one on here can tell you whether you are living together as man and wife which is what any investigation would be looking at.

There is a very lengthy document here:

Do a search on this website - many threads about this.

There are no fixed rules - the 2/3 night "rule" is a very common urban myth.

Financial links are the one of the biggest factors that the Decision Maker would look at (do you have any joint accounts? who pays the household bills? is he registered at this address for anything at all?).. they also look at things like where the person eats, where they do thier laundry and where their possessions are kept.

Are you being investigated regarding this?

Sounds like you are having your cake and eating it.

Full time couple, playing the system to get single person benefits.

How do you pay your own way? Benefits?

Take my neighbours, he works away all week (to support his family), only at home 2/3 nights a week, still a couple though.

I suspect the only reason you are not living together is so that you can claim single parent benefits for your child, and it looks like he does the same for his.

But, from what you say, you are still a full time couple.

    That's just my opinion though.

    Lots of oxymorons there!

If he has the child 3/4 nights per week then why should he put his hand in his pocket, you get all the child benefits!
