    Unfortunately, due to the age & construction of two of the walls, we needed to tank them anyway before we did anything, and one of the main reasons for creating the downstairs shower was to make it easier to wash a very muddy dog after a walk, so a small cubical was out. The glass partition does not close off one side of the room from the other, more it keeps the toilet, etc dry when you're showering.
