Would there be any difference between buying a phone online or in store with Carphone warehouse I did hear in store after some people have been turned down they have been given the opportunity to pay a sum in advance for example £100 if they fail credit check,which I would rather not do although you do get the money back in a few months,my Exprerian Credit report said excellent when I looked at it last year and I've always paid my Virginmedia bill via direct debit with no late payments in 10 years so I'm hoping I will be ok.
Any advice much appreciated

So with that record, why do you think you might be declined or asked for a deposit?

I have heard of people getting declined to their surprise as they had good credit records,and I haven't any desire to be asked in store for money up front
