Caribbean Cruise

There is at least one company that is offering holiday 'prizes' ... one of my brothers employees went for it ... we were all telling her it was a scam and to avoid it ... but she still went ahead, she only had to pay for flights (a bit more expensive than norm but not excessively so) and she had a great cruise in January. Unfortunately it is virtually impossible to separate the 'legit' from the 'scam'.
We only have 6 months to go until our next cruise.... woo hooo

IvanI don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0 -
I've got a couple of telephone lines at home and the first one rang and it was the cruise thing... Pressed 9 to ask where they got my phone number from.
He was fairly abusive saying that he's in the US and nothing applies here so he hung up on me. I however didn't hang up.
Strangely enough I'm still on the line 40 minutes later - I've got one sided audio from the agents who are answering the phones. Seems like a major operation to get your visa card number out of you with the expiry dates..
Thankfully - the three people who have been on the phone so far have declined to provide the visa card number.
They do however give out a free phone number to contact them at a final stage of the process - 0800 091 4761 Seemingly an international freephone number - haven't tried it yet.
If you're name is Steve Hook from Kent and Nigel Cumind also from Kent - well done for not giving out your card number.
It's a pity I'm only getting one way audio... I wonder how long I can stay on the line running up their bill..0
