Where to find ex-mobility cars?

Evans Halshaw sell a lot of ex mobility cars, and they also price match. When I bought my current car I searched all the usual places like Autotrader and Ebay, but kept ending up back at Evans Halshaw who surprisingly were the cheapest.

I know a guy who has a mobility car and abuses it "because it's free". I'm not even kidding.
Sorry, but that is a totally stupid statement !
Do you honestly believe that someone will excessively slip the clutch (for example) just because "it's free" ??
My daughter got an ex Motability (auto) car from her main Ford dealer - great little car.0 -

I'm saying many mobility users can't drive properly. I'm also saying some mobility users abuse their free car.
I've known four ex mobility cars (my own included) that needed clutch and or gear linkage replacements at very low miles. Mine had 18,000 miles on it when the clutch went. Another friend of mine had a low mileage Seat Ibiza, ex mobility that needed a new clutch. Vauxhall Zafira, again, needed a new clutch at low miles and a Nissan Note that needed a clutch at low miles.
Not exactly just one model.
The garage I started using stated he no longer deals in ex mobility vehicles as they are "a warranty nightmare".0 -

simply driving on the road tells you most private car owners can't drive properly either.
There is no difference between motability and other cars. You'll get good ones and duff ones. Knowing what to look for is the key.
As said, the big issue is people believing that motability cars are somehow better looked after than others when that certainly isn't the case.
It's like people buying cars because the previous owner was a doctor. Their profession matters not, if they feel like abusing a car they know they are going to flog on at 3 years old. What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0
