  • Its been a few weeks since I have been on, and what a few weeks.

I have been very poorly, came down with a virus which just wiped me out, Have been off work for 6 weeks and only just feel like I am recovering. Have had to put the overpayments on hold all that time because I was on SSP. However I am back to work on Monday so am getting right back on it.

Have listed a couple of little things on Ebay, and am going to try and list 3 things every week. Have made an Amazon sale this morning of something I had forgotten was even on there so will be putting that into my pot too.

Feel good to be getting back into it, and having the energy to be able to do it.

  • My overpayment pot has reached £100 today - not much of a start but it is a start.

Waiting on some big cashback payments and finally reached my £50 cash out limit at Yougov so hoping that will get paid. I can see on the forum that some people have had issues but others have more positive stories so hoping I fall in the later category.

Still hoping for £1000 by Christmas in the overpayment pot. I am 10% of the way there now. If I look at it in little chunks the total mortgage balance doesnt seem so scary.

    £1500 saved by 15/03/14
(will give me enough time to transfer it to mortgage account and get it paid off)

I also finally reached payout on yougov recently after about 4 years! Took 2 or 3 weeks but I did get paid. Dont do them anymore as other say, there are better ones out there that pay out at lower amounts. My top 3 would be Onepoll, Valued Opinions and Panelbase..

Thank you. I have signed up to Onepoll and done a few surveys already.

I agree about You Gov. I dont know if I will be doing any more because it takes too long, however they always seemed quite straighforward.
