Which payment option should I go for

Hello, I've just moved into my first flat and I'm completely clueless so was hoping you could help me.

I'm going to be here for hopefully a maximum of 6 months. I have received a letter from the water company asking me to choose a payment plan.

1 ten instalments, May to Feb, but then the next tenant will get 2 months free.

2, 2 instalments. October and May

3. One payment in May

Which one do I go for?

Does the flat have a water meter?

Which ever method you chose you will only pay for what water you use if metered, or pro-rata if unmetered. i.e. if you were in flat for exactly 6 months you would pay half the annual charge.

You can get a a refund if you leave the property having paid for a longer period..

Thanks guys. It's unmetered so do I go for the 2 payment option?
