isa transfer advice

Hi

Would anyone be able to advise on how best to manage my ISA account?

I currently have £19K with Santander. Rate has dropped last month.

I would like to transfer but have no plans to use this years allowance. I am no longer able to save each month and do not plan to use the money in the account any time soon so do not need an account with instant access?

Will I be able to transfer & without having to open an isa for this year?

Many Thanks

The first post of Kazzas "Mini Cash ISAs: The Best ISAs currently available List" sticky on the ISA board may also help

Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Looks like it will have to be the Halifax 2 year fix at 2.1%. Its one of very few offering above 2% that I meet the criteria for.
