we have some tiny tiny bugs in the bathroom and i have no idea what they are.
they are teeny. maybe a mm at the most. brown. hard backed. legs (not sure how many) can fly but tend not to too much. prefer to crawl. seem to prefer ceiling for some reason. they don't even fly off when you go to squish them like flies do. i have no idea what they are or where they are coming from. can squish upto 40 a day:eek:
they are no where else in the house.
we had them last year too. and again it was about this time of year when its warmer.
any idea what they might be and how to stop them living in my house

Might they be flea beetles? They tend to be around here when the rape is in flower. What crops are in flower in your area now? Possibly hiding in peas or beans.
Hold on while I try and find a picture.
Anything like that? Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
they are sort of like that but don't have any thing sticking out of their heads (antenna thingy?) and also when they are sat on a surface you can't see their legs. its only if you turn them over you can see.
i live in a town so no fields that are close enough (i don't think) for bugs to travel from crops. the way the houses are though form a huge rectangle with all the back gardens meeting in the middle so lots and lots of greenery, bushes and flowers for bugs to be in i suppose
i just don't understand what they are and where they come from .....and why they like my bathroom0 -

I'm thinking plaster mites or plaster beetle. Is it quite a new house? I've just googled plaster mites and they like damp, mouldy (sorry) conditions and feed off plaster. My friend had these in a new-ish house. The solution, if that's what they are, is to ventilate and turn the heat up.One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

Is it because the bathroom window is the one that is usually open and do you have any creepers or trees that are near to this side of the house.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0

I had some strange bugs appear on all my window sills after i had new windows put in; they looked like tiny black and white ladybirds.
