eDreams card payment fees

I'm looking to book flights through the eDreams.co.uk website and am presented with the following card payment options:

visa Entropay -£23.53
Maestro/solo -£6.84
visa debit +£0.00
mastercard credit +£0.00
visa credit +£0.00

Selecting mastercard (£0.00) I am confused to see £23.53 Payment fees and taxes added to the total.

Adding a charge depending on which card is used is very misleading when £0.00 is listed.

Does anyone know why eDreams need to make this so confusing and deliberately misleading?

Because they are based in Spain (Barcelona to be precise) and think they can get away with it!

Because they are incompetent and/or scammers. They are one of the 3rd party bookers with the worst reputation and many many complaints.
