Advice re faulty tent from Millets

I ordered the tent on August 6th with free next day delivery hoping for it to arrive in time for a camping trip that weekend, by the Thursday, it had still not been dispatched. It was finally dispatched on the Friday and arrived on 12th. Weather wet all week, took until 18th to be able to assemble tent, so no camping that weekend either, tent returned on 19th so no camping this weekend either. Three camping weekends.

The fact of the matter is the tent wasn't cancelled under DSR but sent back under SOGA, for a replacement or a refund.

This gives the retailer the right to have the item inspected to make sure it was not down to customer damage, they are allowed that right.
