    6cm is from the fulcrum

    I'm not sure if I'm being dim - but nail files don't normally have a fulcrum, so is 6cm overall length of the nail file?

    Yeah, sorry, 6cm from the fulcrum is for scissors, nail file is total length
    (I usually just take an emery board)

    Yes, sorry I misunderstood the OP and was referring to not putting them in the clear bag and being stopped for it.
