I will keep you posted!0

..well it'll be just perfect if they don't respond, because then I order a judgement against them...I think they will respond in their final minutes!!...because if a judgement is ordered against them, this goes on their credit file...won't look good for JLDon't trust a forum for advice. Radio 4 Moneybox - Robert Holland, Balfour+Manson LLP
If you type the above into You Tube search you will hear the short interview regarding ex John Lewis staff pay and claiming0 -
Listened to the You Tube interview..It just reinforced that they are dodging their legal responsibilities, and hoping nobody will take it further. Even if I was a current employee, I would not be happy with the compensation amount, and would pursue it further..I know some are seeking legal advice..They have doled out 'hush money'..but not taken into account the partners that worked the really long hours including sundays/bank holidays etc...They do think they're above the law...lets see0

I only worked for them for 1 year so the money owed to me is very little but its the principle of the matter that annoys me .I will be very interested to hear how esined64 gets on.0

Interesting.
I work for another company any 5 from 7 to suit them but get time and a half when I work Sunday. I tend to work every Sunday if possible. :-)
My holidays have always been at my basic rate.
Would I be entitled to complain?0 -
The clock is ticking...They have until midnight tonight to acknowledge my claim.0

As you are contracted for 5 of 7 then unless you specifically booked a Sunday off I would say no, if you booked a Sunday of then you may have a claim.....but as in the original post its very complicated.Don't trust a forum for advice. Yes it's complicated. Maybe I've read the orignal wrong.
Every time I've booked a week off I get one Sunday off included in that week, so a week off would be Monday to Sunday inclusive.
I can opt out of Sundays if I want but for me it boosts my pay a little so do as many as I can.0
